The recipient did not receive my card

The problem in most cases of non-delivery is found in the recipient's Internet Service Provider.

Here's what happens when a rubberchickencards.com card is sent:

TIP: If the sent card appears in your "Recently Sent Cards" area then the site sent the card and the recipient should be encouraged to check spam folder. You may also, send yourself a "Test" card to verify function. A site malfunction will be pervassive, not selective. So, if it works for you then the issue is on the recipient end.

When preparing your card to send, you have the option of receiving a Sent Card confirmation from rubberchickencards.com. It will be sent automatically as the card goes out unless you click "No" on the check box to the right of your card message area on the send card page. TIP: This notification also, contains a link to the sent card that can be forwarded to the recipient to open and view sent card thru this link.

When preparing your card to send, you also have the option of receiving  after your second Card Read confirmation recipient has downloaded the rubberchickencards.com card e-mail notification from their inbox, opened, and experienced your rubberchickencards.com Cardtoon.

Our rubberchickencards.com Card servers deliver your Rubber Chicken Cardtoon to your recipient's Internet Email Service Provider (ESP) instantaneously.

If you have received a Sent confirmation, and you have not received a Read confirmation, this usually means that there is a failure with delivery by the recipient's ISP, employer organization, or recipient's e-mail inbox, causing a failure preventing your recipient from experiencing your Rubber Chicken Cardtoon.

Here are some thoughts about why your Rubber Chicken Cardtoon may not have been read:

Has the recipient checked their E-mail Inbox?

Sometimes recipients have not yet checked their e-mails. Your Rubber Chicken Cardtoon will wait in the recipients Internet E-mail Service Providers holding account, until your recipient checks their e-mails.

Was the card sent to the recipients correct e-mail address?

If the e-mail address is bounced by the recipients E-mail Service Provider, we will forward the bounce notice to the e-mail address on the account that sent the card. In addition, you should see a bounce notice in your card history page located on the My Account tab on top of all Rubber Chicken Cards web pages.

.

Look for the thumbnail and recipients address on the card you sent. Review the recipients e-mail address that you entered. If there is a bounce notice or if you recognize the address as incorrect, you will need to resend a new rubberchickencards.com Cardtoon to the correct address. We do not perform this task for you. You may also, delete the card from the "Recently Sent Cards" area if you do not with the recipient to be able to view the card.

Is the Recipients Mailbox Full or Inactive?

In most cases, the recipients Email Service Provider (ISP) will notify rubberchickencards.com if the recipients email address is incorrect, full, closed, or if you have sent a card to an inactive email address. In such cases, we will forward to you the ISPs email notice and also post the notice in your card history next to the card sent.

If recipients e-mail box is inactive, closed, or over its size quota, their Internet Service Provider will not deliver your rubberchickencards Cardtoon to your recipients inbox.

Is the Recipients Email service Provider timed out?

If the recipients ISP service is interrupted, delivery is impossible until their ISP service is restored.

Is the recipients spam blocker or Internet Service Provider blocking rubberchickencards?

If your recipients or their Internet service provider has Spam or other blocking software, it may be blocking e-mails from rubberchickencards.com.

If so, your recipient may need to change their Spam Blocker or notify their Internet Service Provider to accept e-mails from rubberchickencards.com.

How your recipient can set their e-mail accounts to accept e-mails from rubberchickencards.com

For AOL, select "Add Address".
For Yahoo! Mail, Outlook or Outlook Express select "Add To Address Book".
For Hotmail or MSN, select "Save Address(es)".
For others, please check with your ISP provider.

Is the recipients workplace network blocking rubberchickencards.com e-mail notifications?

If your recipient is currently on a corporate, government or other organizational network, the networks firewall or other screening software might be blocking e-mails from rubberchickencards.com. Your recipient will need to contact their IT personnel (if appropriate) to have them adjust the screening or blocking process to allow e-mails from rubberchickencards.com.

RUBBER CHICKEN TIP!

If your recipients card was not delivered because of spam or other blocking software, you may be able to use your own e-mail provider to send the cardtoon.

When you sent the card from rubberchickencards.com you were also sent a confirmation e-mail from rubberchickencards (unless you clicked on the option not to receive the confirmation). In this confirmation e-mail is the link to the cardtoon you sent. Using your e-mails forwarding process, forward your confirmation e-mail to your recipients e-mail address.

If your recipient can receive e-mails from you they will be able to open the forwarded confirmation e-mail you sent and click on the link to view your rubberchickencards cardtoon. You could also cut and paste the link from the confirmation e-mail into a new e-mail and send that instead of forwarding the confirmation e-mail.
